One of the application requirements is a minimum of CEFR B2 in English, which is equivalent to passing Level 1 of Jitsuyo Eigo Gino Kentei (Test in Practical English Proficiency).
Applicants from English-speaking countries can meet this requirement by participating in the Pre-Interview organized by Chukyo University. The Pre-Interview is meant to prove that the applicants’ English proficiency meets the requirement. Time and date of the Pre-Interview are designated by Chukyo University.
Applicants who do not have a certificate proving their English proficiency is a minimum of CEFR B2 in English should register for the Pre-Interview in order to meet the application requirement.

出願資格のうちのひとつに「英語においてCEFR B2（実用英語技能検定準1級合格相当）以上の運用能力を有する者」を設けております。
しかしながら、英語圏の志願者でスコア保有者ではない場合がある現状から、「本学が指定する日時に英語によるプレインタビューに参加し、一定の英語能力を有していると認めた者」に限りましては、
CEFR B2（実用英語技能検定準1級合格相当）以上のスコアを有していなくても出願可能としております。
